RESCUE & REHABILITATION
OFFERING EMERGENCY SUPPORT TO AT-RISK CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, AND FAMILIES IN CRISIS.

Prison Support & Family Reintegration
-
Regular visits to incarcerated youth, offering emotional and spiritual support
-
Collaboration with families to prepare for reunification and smooth reintegration after release
-
A holistic approach aimed at reducing reoffending and supporting long-term transformation
Personal Care & Faith-Based Support

Restoring dignity through practical services like foot care and haircuts
-
Each staff member is a committed Christian who builds trust through:
-
Conversations about faith and God’s love
-
Reading the Bible together

This relational, faith-driven model helps street-living youth reflect on their lives and take steps toward leaving the streets for good.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
At Time of Rescue, we understand that true success is about more than just leaving the streets. Our aim is to see young people break free from the cycle of poverty, trauma, and marginalisation—and build stable, fulfilling futures. For us, success means a young person continuing their education, reuniting with a loving family, or finding secure employment. It’s about seeing lasting transformation in both mindset and opportunity, with youth empowered to make positive choices for their lives and futures.
LONG TERM MENTORING AND REINTEGRATION
Time of Rescue is committed not only to immediate aid but also to long-term transformation. In partnership with Nicodemus’ Youth Mentoring Program, we provide ongoing one-to-one mentoring with trained mentors—many of whom have faced similar life experiences. This support continues long after a young person leaves the street, helping them to stay on a positive path.
Young people who make the decision to leave the streets are referred to a range of care settings, including child protection homes, education projects, drug rehabilitation centres, or back to their families, when it is safe and appropriate to do so. Throughout this journey, they continue to meet with their mentor for guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Some youth who have successfully transitioned into adulthood return to Time of Rescue through supported job apprenticeships, using their story and experience to inspire others and contribute meaningfully to their community.

CRISIS SUPPORT
We respond to critical needs and help provide a safe route for young people to leave street living and join our Youth Mentoring Program by building trusting relationships through:
> First-aid care on the streets
> Providing warm meals for the homeless
> Working in collaboration with drug rehabilitation homes
> Administering funeral arrangements for the street living population
