COMMUNITY OUTREACH
YOUNG PEOPLE HANDING OUT REFRESHMENTS AND PRAYING WITH RELATIVES OF PATIENTS AS THEY WAIT OUTSIDE A LOCAL HOSPITAL. FAMILIES OFTEN TRAVEL A LONG WAY TO BRING THEIR LOVED ONES TO HOSPITAL HOWEVER THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR ACCOMMODATION FOR THEMSELVES SO THEY ‘CAMP’ ON THE STREETS WHILE FAMILY MEMBERS ARE TREATED.

NEW LIFE AND HOPE TO THEIR COMMUNITIES
We encourage young people to bring new life and hope to their communities through community action. This involves individuals volunteering at local projects and ministries or volunteering as Mentors themselves.
PASSIONATE & EQUIPPED TO SERVE OTHERS
Many of the individuals we support have spent their childhood growing up in a children's protection home, have left behind a street lifestyle, or are living in at-risk households and communities. Having experienced life-enriching restoration in their own lives, the young people we work with become passionate and equipped to serve others and participate in community outreach such as:

Feeding Programme for malnourished children living in poverty

One on one mentoring and social activities in a Children’s Protection Home

School social awareness workshops about gangs, grooming and sexual exploitation

MINISTERIAL
APPRENTICESHIPS
Together with personal life experiences, professional development, and ongoing one-on-one support from a Mentor, some of the individuals we support are prospective employees for roles in our programmes. At times, the best equipped people to take up ministerial apprenticeships are young people from our Youth Mentoring Programme who have now successfully moved on from crisis and rebuilt their lives.
